Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Units (BUs) to align HR policies, practices and strategies to achieve overall business objectives, vision and values
  • Partner BUs to provide advice in HR related matters such as workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring fair treatment, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and lead recruitment efforts to attract top-quality candidates
  • Work in partnership with Centre of Excellence (COE) team such as training and development, shared service, talent acquisition etc to support business needs
  • Provide support in compensation reviews and annual salary/bonus exercises
  • Work with Mandai Nature CEO (or designated senior management team) to prepare and manage staff cost budget and forecast, monitor actual utilisation and be the liaison personnel with payroll team for monthly recharge. Lead and/or support HR projects, initiatives and functional portfolios to support overall HR workplan
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Degree in a HR-related discipline with 5-8 years relevant experience from a fast-paced environment. You should have excellent communication skills with an eye for detail, sense of urgency, strong analytical ability, a good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and a track record of working closely with business stakeholders of all levels.
