Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth delivery of school camps and retreats
· Identify new collaboration opportunities, derive strategies and build prospective pipeline to grow the share of school camps and retreats
· Regular review of camp programmes to ensure achievement of learning objectives
· Regular review of risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for camps
· Recruit, train and manage a pool of regular part-time facilitators to execute school camps and programmes
Job Requirements:
· Degree in Outdoor Adventure, Life Sciences, Biology or related field
· At least 5 years of relevant experience in conducting outdoor-related camps or programmes (for children preferred) / facilitation
· Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage
· Keen to learn with a positive attitude
· Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet timelines
· Drive, initiative and qualities of an active team player
· Customer-oriented, energetic, with a warm deposition
· Has a deep interest in nature, wildlife and public education
· Able to work on weekends and public holidays where required
